My Story Of Seoul 5 Days 2 Nights

1. KL-Incheon took 6 hours. To save yourself a time, book a midnight flight as you will reach Incheon at 5 am.. which is 6 am Malaysia's time. Don't worry.. their 5 am would look like 6.30 or 7 am here. Book midnight flight for your return too. Incheon-Seoul took around an hour. The train to Seoul arrive every 5 minutes. It is optional to take a direct train to Seoul Station or stop at Gimpo airport and take any line to Seoul.

2. Seoul is thrice KL's size. Their public transportation is superb as they have 9 metro trains running around Seoul and arrive at every 5 minutes. The arrival time were very punctual. Just buy an empty T-money card for KRW 3000 at convenience store like GS25 or 7-Eleven and reload it there or at any of reload machine provided at metro stations. As for my 3 days trip, KRW 30,000 is enough.

3. Seoul peoples wont bother to smile or to talk to you, except for those who speak english. I met an old guy who is very kind to try to help me with a map.

4. I didn't spot any fat people like my size during my trip there. None! All of them were very thin and fit, especially their golden citizens. You can spot many old peoples using metro.

5. Their metro line is complicated and their stations were big. But don't worry as there were map everywhere. You need to choose the right exit so that you wont waste your time finding the exit again.

6. Seoul is very clean. Toilet were everywhere, esp at the metro stations. They do provide automatic toilets around town. But, they don't use water like us. Be prepared to carry an empty bottle.

7. Seoul is safe for solo traveller and tourist friendly. They have all the signboards translated to English. They provide map around town for reference. Tourist information centre can be found at their metro stations. You can get your free map and brochures there.

8. Halal food and mosque located at Itaewon. Kebab's set costs around KRW 8000.. which is RM 24.

9. KRW 1000 costs us around RM3. A bottle of mineral water would cost us RM3 there. Bring n empty bottle as they provide drinking water facilities.

10. Visit Seoul. You would feel the satisfaction and freedom if you travel alone. Travel with friends if you prefer being accompanied.
