FOOD MANIAC REVENGE

My office mate told me that she planned to go to this mamak restaurant during breakfasting today since we were totally upset with the event yesterday. We kept talking about it till the idea of eating out came up.

We planned to go to the other hotel, but at the end we choose to eat at The Grill, Tiara. My friend booked a table for 6 adults and 3 children. This was my friend’s family trip actually but with my thick face (Muka tebal in Malay) I insisted to come. He he… As for us here in Victoria, this was the best place for buka puasa event. The food ranged from western, Chinese, Malay, Thailand etc. They even served sushi and lucky for my friend whom always dying for it. As usual, I am a die hard fan of dessert especially cakes!

Oh I could not resist!

The place is currently under construction but the view is still beautiful as always. They developed the place nicely. Only the distance was a bit isolated from town area. If I was not mistaken, it took less than 3 minutes to reach there by car. I filled my first plate with desserts, more cakes and puddings. My second plate was filled with delicious chicken rice, garlic prawn, squids etc etc etc etc. But since her brothers were also there, I did not want to shock them to discover a food maniac like me ever existed here in LA.. Ha ha ha..

I believe this will be the most remembered event this year and.. tell you whatt.. we already make plan to repeat the night next week ;)

“I THINK THE FOOD IS INSUFFICIENT”

My company held a majlis berbuka puasa for all staffs today at one of this hotel but the program turned “sour” because of poor event management, by that hotel. Can you imagine, they only serve two types of cold drinks which is a cordial and plain water, and, the water was not enough for everybody's thirst. Hello! This was fasting month, how do you expect people to drink one or two glasses only?

Not to mention about the insufficient foods.. daa.. buffet basis ok. We ordered for 70 persons, I presumed only 75% of the guests attended the event. The management told us they added extra packs for seven or eight peoples. Call this extra?

How could 4 stars rating hotel allowed this kind of embarrassment to happen? We even overheard the manager talking about “I THINK THE FOOD IS NOT ENOUGH”. Hello! Check again ok. Of course!

And the praying room, they did not even switch on the lamp at the area. It was on the 2nd floor, very dark and isolated connecting with the conference room area. Scary okey!

NO PROOF BULLET

I attended Job Hazard Analysis review on working at height and the procedure of heavy lifting. Today, I played smart by dragging my most important konco to the event so that I will have two brave men who will stand for me as backup to shield me from any 'unnecessary bullets'. We heeee..

FASTING BLUES

My boss and I went to our client's office for a discussion but we were told to come again at 2 pm because something came up at the plant. It is fasting month maa.. aiyakkk

My boss called me to inform regarding the discussion on jetty project which will be held tomorrow at 10 am. Wa haaa..

Day 4 Of Puasa

4^th day of fasting.. .

I attended the Job Hazard Analysis aka JHA review on hot work today.. Since my boss was unable to attend, I have to go alone. I thought the review will be as simple as before but today was a bit different due to presence of their project manager. Well, boss maa..

I did not have any backup because I did not “drag “my koncos. Actually I “abandoned” this project for more than one month. I just put basic things about hot work hazards and job steps but I did not fully aware of the current condition at the work place. Kantoi me.. Luckily my safety officer a.k.a. my site supervisor now (unofficial rise) came in after 20 minutes later ;D

Trip to LA

Around 8.45.. we arrived at the ferry terminal.. quite early.. bla bla bla.. we arrived at LA around 12.15.. Oke oke la.. we just stayed inside the car during the wholw trip.. panas oh!

Next activity.. movie watching.. heah.. I watched FAILURE TO Launch starred by Sarah Jessica Parker and Mathew McCou*-* I dont remember how to spell his name.

Went to bazaar ramadhan.. heah.. i bought mee curry, cendols (two oke) and bubur kacang..

Rusa masuk kampung

I took a cab to Petronas Twin Tower. Ho ho ho.. KLCC here I come!

I registered at the reception counter. I noticed that everyone were wearing formal office attire and I was the only one with slippers there. Ha ha ha..

I entered through gate 1 and exited at the other gate. I was a bit confuse.. ha ha ha.. I was like "rusa masuk kampung". But I finally able to find the right reception counter and freed myself for shopping at last. Ye haaaa... Credit to my boss!

I was really lucky because they were having 3 days sale at KL at the moment. People shopped like crazy everywhere. I spent almost 5 hours inside I-Setan myself. Shoppinggggg!!!!

MY BADMOOD CAR

My car was having a time of his life today. It was during our peak time on the morning. I tried to start the engine but the starter did not fire. I tried few times until bored to death.. ho ho. Luckily i still have my old car staring2 at me like it wanted me to drive him today. For more than three years with my old car, i never have this kind of mati engine experience.. What a day..

I sent my house mate to her office because she parked in front of my dead car.. poor her. Luckily her PTK scheduled tomorrow.. I called my car agent.. agent oke.. not the mechanic ;D. Bla bla.. The technician was able to start the car at the end.. He said the problem was cause by the default setting from factory which turn off the auto system automatically after a certain period... Aik.. Things like this can happen aa? As long as my car is not dead.. oke la tuh!

Happy me returned to my office. Knock2 at my boss door just to remind him the tender will be closed this friday but we need to complete it before wednedsday so that we will be able to courier to KL. then he said.. Tengok tiket air asia.. kau pegi la. HO HO?

I guess he was just kidding.. but i did visit the air asia website.

PIZZA DAYS

I loved pizza.. I remembered dragging my buddy to pizza every day for a week once.. ha ha.. to whom it may concern.. sorry fren.. I just loved pizza so much.. I also loved cooking.. but I hated to bake.. I got this idea which is suitable for people who prefer something fast & simple for tea or breakfast maybe.. Here is the tip…

Bread (Gardenia or whatever) - 2 pcs

Creamer Milk – 4 table spoon or less

Sausage – Sliced

Tuna in can (Optional)

Butter/ Margarine (Salting purpose)

Mixed vegetables

Mixed herbs (Optional)

Mayonnaise

Heat the oven.. Moist bread with milk but don’t overdo it.. Double it or you can put tuna in between.. Moist the upper bread.. Put sausage, mayonnaise, butter, mixed vegetables, tuna and spread mixed herbs.. Bake it for 5 to 10 minutes (depend on your oven)... There you go.. Pizza oke.. You can cut the bread edge before serving…

YAMAHA VS CASIO

Feels like I don’t have enough time today.. Since morning I worked out the HSE file and main target is THICKNESS! Ho ho ho.. Safety blab la blab la.. kuih kacang.. Nescafe.. popia.. Nescafe.. this is my most important daily activity.. makan maa..

Nite pulok.. I revolutionized my activity to art stream & main target - menulikan gegendang telinga my house mate with my sumbang voice.. I know oke! Sang this Foolish Games song by Jewel.. I sound worst than my first recording.. cheh.. wasting my time and karan only! But with Yamaha.. all the sumbang sound during “keyboarding” will automatically vanished. I planned to buy Casio..but after visiting the Yamaha store and my man yang keep cucuk2ing me into buying it.. all my thoughts about Casio was sinking.. I don’t really mind about the touch sense.. but the bass sound.. fuhh..just like how much I loved Sony Ericsson Walkman series..

I really loved SE hp.. the alive screen.. their boom boom sound.. the look.. but what I hate is the housing yang cepat sangat berkurap.. aiyaa.. I bought a set of screw drivers just to have the T6 for opening my housing. During my searching on the net.. I found this seller that allowed for add-on of the T6 for RM 9.90 only.. Hey.. Speaking of my housing.. bla la pulok nak sampe.. x sabar da ni!
